What to expect

Transportation and Arrival

Departure from Pucón towards the Chile-Argentina border (Paso Mamuil Malal) on a journey of approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes (70 km). The tour starts at the trail entrance with a brief visit to Laguna Quillelhue, located next to the road.

Hike to Laguna Escondida and Laguna Huinfiuca

Hike along a flat trail for approximately 1 hour to reach Laguna Escondida. Then, in about 30-40 minutes, arrive at Laguna Huinfiuca, an ideal spot to rest, enjoy a snack, and admire the natural landscape.

Hike to Laguna Verde

Continue towards Laguna Verde on a more demanding section due to its prolonged slope. This hike takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, offering volcanic terrain with spectacular views of Volcán Lanín, Laguna Verde, and the native forests.

Return to the Vehicle

Begin the return hike along the same trails, estimated to take 3 hours.
