The day begins with pick-up at your accommodations in Santiago (city center). During the journey to Cajón del Maipo, the guide will provide an introduction to the tour and the destinations we’ll visit.

Our first stop is in San José de Maipo, a charming colonial town declared a National Monument. You’ll have time to explore its picturesque main square, admire its historic buildings, and enjoy breakfast on your own at one of the local eateries.

We visit the famous Tinoco Tunnel, a historic location surrounded by local legends. Explore this mysterious place while the guide shares interesting stories and facts about its past.

Enjoy a stop at the Río Yeso Viewpoint, where you can admire the crystal-clear waters of the river and the towering Andes mountains. This is an ideal moment for photography and connecting with nature.

In a peaceful spot surrounded by nature, we’ll enjoy a delicious picnic featuring cheese, cold cuts, chips, nuts, or a traditional empanada with juice. Relax and recharge while soaking in the serene environment.

We continue deeper into the Andes, making brief stops to admire the landscapes and experience the unique atmosphere of this Andean canyon.

On the way back, we stop at this charming shop with a fairytale-like facade. Take the opportunity to buy local chocolates, snap photos, and enjoy the unique ambiance.
