What to expect

Estero Parada

Located 6 km from Villa Cerro Castillo, accessible via Arroyo El Bosque road. Ideal starting point for one or two-day hikes.

Mirador Laguna Trail

A moderate-difficulty trail offering stunning panoramic views of the lagoon and Cerro Castillo massif. One of the most popular options for single-day hikes.

Important information
  • If you plan to cross Morro Negro in a single day, you must purchase a two-day ticket, as you will be using multiple trails.
  • Access to the Horquetas Traverse is strictly through the Horquetas sector and is one-way only, with exit exclusively through Estero Parada or Mirador Laguna. During winter, this access is only permitted when accompanied by an authorized guide. Prior to entry, it is mandatory to register by completing the online liability acknowledgment form
