Get ready for an unforgettable experience as we dive into the majestic Valdivian rainforest. We'll depart from Valdivia, heading north along the coastal mountain range, to reach Oncol Park. Here, you'll walk through trails surrounded by ancient evergreen forests, home to a rich variety of flora and fauna. Our route will lead us to the top of Cerro Oncol, standing at 700 meters above sea level, where you’ll be treated to breathtaking views. If the weather permits, you'll witness the stunning volcanoes of the Andes and the vast Pacific Ocean.After this incredible mountain adventure, we’ll head to Pilolcura Beach, a hidden gem on the coast. Here, you’ll enjoy a unique view of seabirds and impressive rock formations while savoring a light snack. We’ll then return to Valdivia along a beautiful and scenic coastal road, offering you even more of the region’s natural beauty. An unforgettable experience you won’t want to miss!

We pick up passengers to head toward Parque Oncol. Along the way, we'll enjoy views of distant hills and the impressive Río Cruces Nature Sanctuary.

Meeting at Accommodation and Journey to Parque Oncol:

Upon arrival, we stop to pay the entrance fee and then enter the Valdivian forest. We'll take a short break to use the restrooms before starting the hike to the summit.

Arrival at Parque Oncol:

We'll walk the park's main trail, leading us through the forest to the top of Cerro Oncol. Along the way, we'll observe the rich flora and fauna characteristic of the evergreen forest.

Oncol Trail:

After the hike, we head to Playa Pilolcura, where we stop to visit a local sculptor's workshop and appreciate his art. On the beach, we'll relax and enjoy the scenery, featuring rock formations and nesting birds. The return to Valdivia follows the coastal road, passing by various beaches in the commune.
