Explore the Strait of Magellan on this unmissable journey to Magdalena and Marta Islands, two marine wildlife sanctuaries in Chilean Patagonia. Departing from Punta Arenas, after check-in, we drive to Bahía Laredo to board fast boats.The first stop is Magdalena Island, home to over 40,000 Magellanic penguins. There we will disembark and walk along a 1.1 km trail to observe one of the largest colonies in South America, guided by a naturalist expert.We then navigate to Marta Island to observe a large colony of sea lions from the boat. If nature allows, we may also spot dusky dolphins, Peale’s dolphins, Sei whales, and birds such as imperial cormorants and kelp gulls.This 5-hour experience combines navigation, wildlife observation, and breathtaking scenery, with everything included in the ticket.
