The activity begins with participants gathering in front of the Hualqui Municipality, from where they are transported to the starting point at Cuesta Quilacoya. Upon arrival, personal equipment is provided, along with instructions on its proper use. A technical and safety briefing, essential for carrying out the activity, is then given. A warm-up and group dynamic are conducted before starting the navigation.During the journey, we will explore the river's hydrography and its influence on the region's microclimates. As we progress, we will have the opportunity to observe cormorants in their habitat, hear the distinctive call of the Southern Lapwing (Queltehue), and discover the flora that borders the river, accompanied by the melodious song of the Chucao. If river conditions allow, we will pause at Isla de los Conejos for a rest and to share experiences. At the end of the navigation, the equipment will be returned, and participants will be transported back to the Plaza de Hualqui.

Once at the river, personal equipment will be distributed, followed by a detailed explanation of its use and correct positioning. Additionally, a technical and safety briefing will be provided, which is crucial for the navigation.

The navigation begins down the Biobío River, covering approximately 11 kilometers, while enjoying the scenery and biodiversity throughout the route.

During the navigation, team activities will be conducted, promoting interaction and teamwork among the participants.

Along the route, information about the river's hydrography and its impact on the region’s microclimates will be shared. The flora, fauna, and cultural heritage of the area will also be explained, including sightings of local species like cormorants and the Southern Lapwing.

Upon reaching the final destination, the equipment will be returned, and a brief reflection on the experience will take place before concluding the activity.
