What to expect
We begin the tour by picking up participants from their accommodations within the urban area of San Pedro de Atacama. We will visit the fascinating Moon Valley, known for its rock formations and dunes that create a surreal atmosphere. Afterwards, we head to Mars Valley to enjoy an unforgettable sunset accompanied by a special toast celebrating the vastness of the desert. At the end, we return to the accommodations.
4 hoursWe depart early from the accommodations towards the Tatio Geysers, where at dawn we will witness the majestic geothermal vapors in a mystical setting. We will enjoy an outdoor breakfast with views of the geysers. Afterwards, we visit the picturesque village of Machuca, a cultural oasis in the desert, to learn about local traditions. Upon completion, we return to the accommodations for a brief rest.
7 hoursIn the afternoon, we pick up participants from their accommodations and head to the vast Atacama Salt Flat, where we will explore the Chaxa Lagoon, home to flamingos. We will end the day in the charming village of Toconao, known for its colonial architecture and unique crafts. After some free time to explore at your own pace, we return to the accommodations in San Pedro de Atacama.
