What to expect

Start of the trek at Carilafquén Lagoon:

Starting point at the base of Sollipulli Volcano. Receive a technical briefing before beginning the ascent.

Discover the majesty of the Salto del León, surrounded by untouched nature.

Walk through the forests of Coihues and Ñires:

A walk through ancient Coihue and Ñire forests, with the possibility of spotting local wildlife such as the Andean Condor and Puma.

Arrival at the campsite:

Set up camp at 1600 meters above sea level, among Araucaria forests and volcanic sands. Duration: 1 hour

Dinner and technical briefing:

Enjoy dinner under the stars while learning about the flora, fauna, and geography of the area. Duration: 1 hour

Day 2: Breakfast at sunrise:

Start the day with a spectacular sunrise, surrounded by Araucarias and views of the Llaima, Sierra Nevada, and Lonquimay volcanoes.

Preparing and packing up the camp before the descent.

Descent with a visit to the abandoned locomotive:

During the descent, visit an old locomotive and enjoy the vegetation and water streams along the way.
