From Santiago to the coast: nature, wildlife, and flavors of Chile.We begin the day with a private transfer from Santiago towards the central coast. Our first stop is Quirilluca Beach, a natural sanctuary of cliffs and grasslands. A gentle guided walk introduces us to native plants and coastal birds such as loicas, pelicans, and terns, with a healthy snack overlooking the ocean.Later, we enjoy a traditional Chilean lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we head to Cachagua, walking along a scenic coastal trail to the viewpoint facing the Penguin Island. With binoculars and the guide’s expertise, we observe Humboldt penguins, cormorants, pelicans, and, with luck, the rare marine otter (chungungo).The experience closes at Playa Las Cujas, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sound of the waves, followed by a coffee break before returning to Santiago. A day filled with wildlife, landscapes, and flavors, suitable year-round.
