Departure from San Pedro de Atacama to the Bolivian border. We will complete migration procedures and enjoy an outdoor breakfast before beginning our expedition. The day's highlights include Laguna Blanca and Laguna Verde for panoramic photography, the Dalí Desert, the Polques hot springs (with the option of bathing), the Sol de Mañana geyser, and the stunning Laguna Colorada, home to flamingos. We will end the day in Pueblo Villamar, where we will stay overnight in a local lodge.
1 dayThis day includes discovering ancient archaeological remains and unique landscapes such as cave paintings, Lost Italy, Black Lagoon, the Petrified Camel, the World Cup rock formation, and the Valley of Rocks. We will also explore the Mysterious Lagoon and the Anaconda Canyon. The day will end with a craft beer tasting in San Agustín and a visit to the abandoned town of Julaca. At night, we will stay in a salt hostel, an exclusive experience in the region.
1 dayWe will start the day with an unforgettable sunrise at the Uyuni Salt Flats, the largest salt deposit in the world. We will explore the vast salt plains and take fun perspective photos. Then, we will visit Incahuasi Island, famous for its giant cacti, the Flag Museum (located at 3,660 meters above sea level), the Dakar Monument, and the Eyes of the Salt Flat. The day will conclude with a visit to Colchani’s artisan market and the Train Cemetery before reaching the city of Uyuni. In the evening, we will travel to Villa Mar, where we will have dinner and stay overnight.
1 dayAfter breakfast in Villa Mar, we will begin our journey back to the Chilean border, a five-hour trip. At customs, we will complete migration procedures, including presenting the tourist card and passport stamping. We will then continue our journey back to San Pedro de Atacama.
