Our horseback expedition begins at Casa Bosque, a rustic architectural landmark. Here, we’ll start with an introduction to the activity. We then travel for an hour by vehicle to the starting point, where we’ll get equipped and meet our horses, learning best practices for respectful animal care.Along the way, we’ll visit Laguna del Indio, a hidden spot between mountains, and appreciate the Tambo Inca, archaeological remains of an ancient civilization. You’ll also enjoy incredible views of two glaciers and a privileged lookout over El Yeso Reservoir.Our final destination is Laguna Negra, a natural gem and vital water source for Santiago. There, we’ll enjoy a gourmet lunch in the mountains while the guide shares the story of this fascinating place, recently opened to the public.
