Our full-day expedition to Laguna Negra is perfect for those seeking adventure and unique landscapes in the high mountains. We begin at Casa Bosque, a well-known meeting point in Cajón del Maipo, where we’ll have an introductory talk and receive the necessary gear.After a one-hour vehicle ride, we’ll start the hike with a stop at El Yeso Reservoir. The guide will share the site’s history before we continue towards the Andes, visiting scenic viewpoints of the reservoir and glaciers like Echaurren and Mesón Alto.Our final destination is Laguna Negra, over 2,600 meters above sea level. This hidden lake is a key water source for Santiago and a natural wonder. Here, we’ll enjoy a box lunch surrounded by pristine mountain landscapes.
