The tour begins with a transfer from your accommodation in La Serena. This service is guaranteed if your accommodation is within the Avenida del Mar area. If you are staying outside this area, we will provide a nearby meeting point. During the approximately 1 hour and 45-minute journey to Fray Jorge, you will enjoy the natural landscapes of the region.

Upon arrival at the Viento Sur astronomical center, we will begin with an introductory talk on astronomy. Astrotourism experts will explain the fundamentals of stargazing and the significance of the night sky in this privileged region.

Using specialized telescopes in a perfectly dark environment, we will observe the night sky. Depending on the time of year, you may see planets, nebulae, stars, and star clusters.
