What to expect

Arrival at Parque Tantauco

Visitors arrive at the Parque Tantauco entrance in the Lago Yaldad sector, where they receive information about the trails and park regulations.

Free Exploration of Self-Guided Trails

Visitors can explore the trails in Yaldad and Chaiguata at their own pace, enjoying wildlife observation, viewpoints, hanging bridges, and rest areas.

Between 2 and 6 hours, depending on the trails chosen.
End of Activity and Park Exit

Visitors return to the entrance to conclude their visit and leave the park. Each visitor is reminded to take their waste with them and respect closing times.

What to bring
  • Comfortable walking clothes and trekking shoes.
  • Hat for sun and cold, sunscreen, and a bottle of water.
  • Snacks for the day and a waterproof jacket in case of rain.
