Live a full-day experience in the Andes with this all-inclusive tour to high-altitude hot springs in the Elqui Valley. Start your day with a traditional breakfast in the village of Huanta, prepared by a local woman from the pre-cordillera. Then travel up to the Juntas del Toro border complex to register and continue the route to the hot springs, located on the slopes of Cerro Las Tórtolas, the second highest mountain in the region.At 3,300 meters above sea level, you’ll enjoy extraordinary views, colorful mountain landscapes, and great biodiversity. From there, a short guided trekking will take you to a hidden waterfall, formed by the pure glacial meltwater from the Andes. After that, it's time to relax in the hot springs, where you’ll also enjoy a mountain-style tasting of local wines and a platter of artisanal products.To end the day, you'll return to Vicuña and stop at a local restaurant to enjoy artisanal beer and freshly made pizzas, a perfect way to close this unique adventure in the mountains.
