The Base Torres Trek is one of the most famous routes in Patagonia. This regular bus service takes you from Puerto Natales to Laguna Amarga, where you must show your entrance ticket to Torres del Paine National Park and take an additional transfer to the Welcome Center, the starting point of the hike.The route covers a 22-kilometer round trip and takes approximately 8 hours to complete. Along the trail, you will cross rivers, forests, and rocky terrain, enjoying breathtaking landscapes until reaching the Base Torres Viewpoint, where you can admire the majestic Torres del Paine.This service does not include a guide, making it perfect for those seeking a self-guided trekking experience. It's important to note that the last transfer back from the Welcome Center to Laguna Amarga leaves at 7:00 PM, and the return bus to Puerto Natales departs at 8:15 PM, arriving in town around 10:15 PM.
