Start of the journey from downtown Osorno with included transport. The route passes through rural landscapes and forested areas characteristic of southern Chile.

07:00 – Departure from Plaza de Armas

Arrival at the trailhead in Puyehue National Park. Technical briefing, equipment check, and preparation for the hike.

09:30 – Arrival at trail access point

Beginning of the hike along forested paths. On the way up, you’ll enjoy views of Lake Rupanco and learn about local geology and biodiversity.

10:00 – Start of Cerro Sarnoso trail

Reaching the summit, with panoramic views of Lake Rupanco and volcanoes Osorno, Puntiagudo, Tronador, Casablanca, and Puyehue. Time to rest, take photos, and have a snack.

13:30 – Arrival at Cerro Sarnoso summit

Start of the descent via the same trail, then travel by vehicle back to Osorno. Opportunity to relax and enjoy the views on the return.
