We depart early from Puerto Varas, heading towards the northern slopes of Volcán Osorno in Parque Nacional Vicente Pérez Rosales, a drive of approximately 1.5 hours. The hike starts at Sector La Picada (700 masl), with a progressive ascent of 400 meters.Along the way, we pass through native forests before reaching volcanic rock and sandy trails, offering spectacular views of Volcán Osorno. As we continue, we take the route that ascends towards Cerro La Picada, gradually approaching Mirador La Bandera, which offers incredible panoramic views.After about 3 hours of hiking, we reach our final viewpoint, where we take a well-deserved break to enjoy the breathtaking scenery of Cerro La Picada and the surrounding volcanic landscapes. We then begin our descent along the same trail, eventually returning to Puerto Varas, concluding an unforgettable trekking experience.
