<p>We start early from your accommodation in Puerto Varas, heading towards the slopes of Osorno Volcano in the La Picada sector. The hike begins at 700 meters above sea level, with a gradual ascent of 400 meters. During the climb, you’ll walk through a native forest dominated by Coihue trees. After 45 minutes, upon reaching 1,100 meters, you'll enjoy the first sweeping panoramic view of Cerro La Picada. We then begin the descent through volcanic landscapes, offering excellent views of Lake Todos Los Santos and its surroundings. We arrive at the La Picada viewpoint, where we'll recharge with a snack while enjoying the scenery that includes Osorno and Calbuco Volcanoes, Cerro Tronador, Puntiagudo, and Sierra Santo Domingo. Afterward, we continue descending towards the lake, where we can cool off in the water before heading to Petrohué, where our route ends. We return to Puerto Varas via the southern slope of the volcano, passing by the Petrohué Falls and the village of Ensenada.</p>
