This three-day, two-night expedition takes you deep into the Central Andes, near the majestic Tupungato Volcano (6,580 m), the highest in the Metropolitan Region. Departing from Santiago, you’ll travel to the Río Colorado Valley and begin your trek toward the refuge through breathtaking high-altitude landscapes.Over 40 km round trip, you’ll camp one night in the mountains and another at the refuge. Pack animals carry all the equipment and food, so you can hike light and focus on the experience.Accompanied by certified mountain guides, you’ll discover glaciers, valleys, and vast open skies while enjoying full board meals prepared by the expedition team.Designed for adventure lovers and nature enthusiasts, this trek offers challenge, serenity, and connection with Chile’s wild heart.
