What to expect

Day 1: Start of the adventure

The group meets at our agency at 7:00 AM for an equipment check and final instructions. From there, a transfer takes the group to the starting point of the ascent on the Chilean side of the Lanín Volcano. The hike begins with a gradual climb through natural landscapes, leading to the base camp at 2,900 meters above sea level. Here, the camp is set up to spend the night and acclimatize to the altitude.

Approximately 8-10 hours, including transfer, hiking, and setting up camp.
Day 2: Ascent to the summit and return

The day begins early, around 4:00 AM, to take advantage of optimal conditions. The final stretch to the summit is challenging but rewarding, offering spectacular views of the region's volcanoes, lakes, and forests. After enjoying the summit, the descent begins toward the starting point, followed by a transfer back to the agency.

Approximately 12-14 hours, including the ascent, descent, and transfer.
