What to expect

Meeting at the Starting Point

We meet at 6:00 AM to begin the adventure. We’ll have 30 minutes to gear up, use the facilities, and prepare for departure.

Transfer to Palguín

Departure towards the Palguín sector, with an estimated travel time of 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Arrival at Paraíso Encantado and Start of Ascent

Arrival at the starting point at Paraíso Encantado and beginning of the ascent of Quetrupillán Volcano.

Hike through Native Forest

We start the trail through the native forest, walking for approximately 2 hours surrounded by unique nature.

Exiting the Forest and First Rest Stop

Reaching 1,600 meters above sea level, we take a 15-minute break to rest, have a light snack, and hydrate.

Ascent to 2,100 meters

We resume the climb, heading towards a new point at 2,100 meters in altitude.

Second Rest Stop

Pause at 2,100 meters for a 15-minute break to rest, eat, and hydrate.

Final Ascent to the Summit

We continue the climb in the final stretch towards the volcano's summit.

We reach the summit of Quetrupillán Volcano, where we have free time to enjoy the view and have lunch (food not included).
