<p>We will pick you up from your hotel in Putre at 8:00 AM and head towards Parinacota. Just outside this Andean village lies the sacred mountain Guane Guane, one of the main peaks of the Chilean altiplano. We will stop at the base of this mountain, where our trekking route will begin. The hike, with a medium difficulty level and approximately 8 hours in duration, will allow us to enjoy beautiful natural landscapes. The mountain's summit is at 5100 meters of altitude, and as we ascend, the views will become more and more spectacular. From the top of Guane Guane, we will enjoy stunning panoramas of Lauca National Park. We will also observe Lake Chungará and the Cotacotani lagoons, which stretch beyond the horizon. We will recharge midway through with a picnic including sandwiches, nuts, chocolates, and natural juices. We will then begin the descent down Guane Guane’s slope to the starting point of the trail. Finally, we will return to your hotel in Putre, where we will arrive between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM.</p>
