We invite you to explore Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, Chile’s oldest park, established in 1926 and part of the "Temperate Rainforest Reserve of the Southern Andes." During this 13 km trek, you’ll traverse the north face of Volcán Osorno, discovering native vegetation such as Coihues and Chaura, as well as geomorphological formations, traces of mudflows, and volcanic activity that shaped the landscape over millions of years.The trail takes you through a valley that feels like another planet, offering breathtaking views of Todos Los Santos Lake, La Picada Hill, and Tronador Volcano. You’ll descend along the northeast face of the volcano through a Valdivian forest to reach Petrohué, where our driver will be waiting to take you back to Puerto Varas.This trek is a must for nature lovers and those captivated by volcanic landscapes.
