Experience the adventure of climbing the majestic Rukapillán Volcano, the most active volcano in South America. We meet at 7:00 AM to start an exciting day filled with challenges, breathtaking views, and a deep connection with nature. Participants over 14 must be accompanied by a guardian or responsible adult.

What to expect

Meeting at Starting Point

We meet at 7:00 AM to start the adventure. We’ll have 30 minutes to gear up, use the facilities, and prepare for departure.

Transfer to the Volcano

Departure towards the base of the volcano by private transport, where the ascent will begin.

Start of Ascent

Arrival at the starting point and beginning of the hike towards the volcano's summit.

1 hour and 30 minutes until the first stop
First Rest Stop

Stop to remove layers, take a quick snack break, and rehydrate. We are now at 1,400 meters above sea level.

10 minutes
Second Hydration Stop

Brief stop to eat a light snack and hydrate, now at 2,000 meters above sea level.

Arrival at the Summit

Reaching 2,600 meters above sea level between 12:00 and 1:00 PM. We’ll take a break to enjoy the views, have lunch, and prepare for the descent.

20 minutes
Start of Descent

We begin the descent from the volcano’s summit, enjoying spectacular views along the way.

2 hours and 10 minutes to the parking area
Arrival at the Parking Area

End of the descent, where transport back awaits us.

30 minutes
Return to Agency

Return to the agency for a celebratory end to the day.
