Departure from the Town of Putre

We begin our journey from the town of Putre to the archaeological area of Las Cuevas, where we will embark on a trek along a trail offering stunning views and a unique connection with nature.

Pampa Ancochalloani

We take a detour through Pampa Ancochalloani, enjoying a scenic backdrop with spectacular views of the Payachatas Volcanoes.

Las Vicuñas National Reserve and Ancuta Village

We enter the Las Vicuñas National Reserve, visiting Ancuta Village, known for its traditional architecture and unique landscapes.

Guallatire Village

We visit the picturesque village of Guallatire, featuring its 17th-century church oriented towards the imposing active Guallatire Volcano.

Salar de Surire

We arrive at Salar de Surire, located at 4,245 m.a.s.l., where we can observe three species of flamingos: Andean, Chilean, and James, in their natural habitat.
