What to expect

Meeting at the Agency

Meet to review equipment and receive a safety briefing before departing to the starting point.

Transfer to Araucarias Ski Center

Travel by vehicle to the starting point at the Araucarias Ski Center, followed by a brief rest before starting the ascent.

2 hours and 30 minutes
Start of the Ascent through Native Forest

Ascent through lenga and coigüe forests, observing the local flora and fauna.

Stop at the Cordillera Viewpoint

Short break to enjoy the view and take photos.

15 minutes
Ascent to the Volcano’s Base

Continue ascending to the base of the volcano, with a rest stop for a snack and energy recharge.

Final Ascent to the Summit

Final stretch to the summit, where the landscape becomes even more impressive with the gained altitude.

Time at the summit to enjoy a picnic lunch, take photos, and rest.
